Pictures from Parque Central in Esteli, Nicaragua. Hidden journaling: El Parque Central is a great people watching spot. It is located across from the Iglesia de San Francisco. I saw the statue of the rotund woman holding her braids on Google Earth before seeing it in person. The bandstand does have live music and at night boys practice break dancing. There are food vendors all around the outside of the park, so it's common to see people having a snack. A vendor rents the battery cars for children.

I want to thank my young friend Ariel Miller for finding the bargain on the bling accents.
