how fun!!! what awesome pics!! love how you used sooo many scraps!! love the different letters in the title! and awww, bummer only one flower left. LOL
AMAZING. The whole thing - scrap paper. You are one clever girl. I love how you improvised everything to make it fit on your page. I love that you flipped the sketch upside down. I love that you used photos that are "imperfectly lit." I love this whole thing. All of it. Every single item.
wow!! I love these pics!! I like how you flipped the sketch so she was really in the air! Also love the title so cute for these pics! great colors too, Oh and that arrow and those butterflies are soo pretty, everything is! All around awesome lo!
The twist for this week was: "Optional Twist/BONUS VOTES OPPERTUNITY~Let's use up some SCRAPS! The only NON-scrap item you can use is bkgnd paper for this twist. Use a combination of 10 or more different scraps/leftover items on your LO & get 3 extra votes come voting time-and you must tell me what you used to get credit! I will not try to guess what is what on your LO."
My white background was not a scrap. LOL
I used 4 scrap strips across the top of the page; One scrap for the arrow..but the piece wasn't big enough to cut the entire arrow at once, so I had to piece it...I covered the seam with the flower. I used two different scraps for the mats for the photos; The photo corners were punched from 3 different scraps; The butterflies were cut from another scrap (the had to be placed against edges, because I only had the one full buttefly on the scrap, so the straight cut edges were disguised by placing them along an edge; The date was done with 3 different old sets of rubons; The name was done with alphas from 4 different old sets of alphas..then I traced around them with a black pen; The rubon words/phrases were leftovers on several different sheets of rub-ons. "is in the air" and "Dancing" were from a sheet of Fall themed rubons...I combined the two to make a fun title; the flower is the 2nd to the last flower from a pkg that my friend Michelle sent me; The expoxy stickers I've had forever and only had a few of these pinky/peachy ones left; the mirror word was one of the last 2 in a pkg...I've had them forever and have a hard time finding a good way to use them.
I used my white pen to outline things and some Distress Ink to ink some edges and some floss for the stitching.
