Paper Tearing: Violet vellum and paper
Photos are like paper-tole IRL. I used two copies of each photo. The first set as the background, then I cropped the second set to retain the people only. I mounted the cropped photo over the 'background' photo, exactly over the copied image to create a 'pop-up look'.
