This is beautiful! I think this worked out beautifully, the beads reminded me of the sea glass and the wave effect is still there! Love the picture, i think her hair rocks! YOu have also sold me on that cartridge, those clouds are gorgeous!
Oh my, that is one spectacular photo, Jeannie! Two beautiful young ladies! Your details are fabulous, especially those awesome looking clouds! What wonderful embellies you've incorporated onto this stunning layout! Love it all!
Really like the clouds and swirls. I really want the Serenade cartridge (LOOKS COOL) That is a gorgeous photo and I love the beachy feel of the LO!!!!--Kim
I did this for the Scraplifting 101 challenge...I lifted Sommar by Mija. This is me with Roni by the Pacific Ocean and once again I must say her hair, although BRIGHT, is not THAT garish. We are standing over a beach we love to visit and take photos of. We've yet to go down to the beach....seldom see anyone down there as it is quite a climb I imagine. This is south of Half Moon Bay on Highway 1 (California south of SF). It is very peaceful and calm there which is a definition of pacific. I just got my new cricut cart Serenade which I used for the swirls and the cute little clouds. I meant to have more rows of ribbon but ran out...all of a sudden I came to end of the spool..shock!.. so I added some old Creative Imaginations beaded wire...which no longer gives this layout a beach with waves feel. Shell is by Debbie Mumm for Creative Imaginations. Plaid pp and blue pp are from my stash..don't know the manufacturers. I have a few pieces of beach glass on there.that is what is under the p and it looks cool irl. I inked the edges of the photo and the craft pp with turquoise cats eye.
