This is for the UYS week 3 and the DIY challenges. I tried to use a ton of bling here. The whole peacock is covered w/ glimmer mist and I did the detail work on the individual feathers with my Pearl Ex and added more bling. The flowers are made from white satin following this fabulous tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y75J5jfsz4Y. Love the results, I'm definitely going to be making them again! I used stickles and shimmery fabric paints to make the flourishes and dragonfly. There is hidden journaling under the peacock's plume.

This photo was taken in northern Italy in the Lake region at our friends' wedding. Whenever I think about that place and that wedding we attended, the words 'beauty' and 'splendor' come to mind. We had a magical time there. Tfl!
