I went through your whole gallery and I was very inspired. (Obviously by the layouts like this one that are so stupidly amazing you should be bronzed,) but moreso because I looked at your earliest layouts and followed your artist progression. You have really worked on your craft. You have stretched yourself from simple beginning layouts to very intricate, detailed, other worldly pages.
I truly admire how much you've grown and how you've taken the entire thing to a whole new level for everyone else to see and learn from. Thank you so much for dedicating yourself to this pursuit. Everyone's art gets better from seeing yours.
Still Bowing,
Marilyn Paige

The clock is a fabulous touch as letter 'o'. You must have the patience of Job to weave all those strips....great job [no pun intended]. The colors are cool, and the hearts anchor it all together. Hidden journaling (pulls from tailored tab on lower left): Time it is a tricky thing. Sometimes it crawls by, and other times it is swift. For the seven years before your birth it seemed to crawl by ever so slowly, and then on March 17, 2005 at 6:53AM you were born, and time began to move swiftly as in the blink of an eye. I can hardly believe that 365 days have passed and you are much too quickly leaving baby-hood and entering todler-hood (sigh). But woven in these past minutes, hours, and days are so many memories I cherish. There is the moment you entered this world that I will never forget. Your 1st smile at 5 days old in the car when we were bringing you home to Michigan, the million miles of holding and rocking you. How as an infant you punched the air as if you were in training and became our little Punchypoo. There is the fact that you loved to be swaddled up to the age of 11 months old. Those sweet baby milestones of rolling over, lifting your head, sitting up, insisting on feeding yourself (you were 6 months old), standing, and those monumental first steps and words. And then there were those first holidays, your first Halloween as a skunk--our little stinker--your first Christmas and visit to Santa, and how you looked up so adoringly at him and laid your head on his chest as if ready to let him rock you to sleep. And then there is the sqwunchy. When you are most happy you sqwunchy and snorkel your nose-you silly little boy. All these beautiful moments and experiences led up to your first birthday where you giggled in delight grabbing and eating fistfuls of cake. But mostly I cherish the moments You, Daddy, and I are together and we smile, laugh, act silly, and have a wonderful time everyday. And for this I feel that I am the luckiest person in the world, and God willing there will be innumerable memories still to be woven in time and in our hearts to cherish. Love, Mama
