Beautiful LO! So sorry for the loss of your mom but glad the pain is turning into sweet memories for you. The photo of the two of you is just lovely and you scrapped it beautifully!
Wow Starr, that is such a beautiful layout and such a lovely way to keep those memories alive. So sorry about the loss of your mother. I'm so lucky to still have my mom around so I can't imagine the pain. I'm so glad you were able to find such a beautiful way to get you through it. Your mom was a beautiful lady.
Love the title! I used to read "The Outsiders" with my 8th graders every year! They loved it, and I love this page! Having read your description, it becomes even more beautiful still. I am so sorry for your tremendous loss and grateful that your scrapbooking brought you some solace and those of us fortunate enough to share your work so much pleasure. Hugs to you.
Scrapbooking, painting, card making, these are such great therapy and helped me through a difficult year. My mom died 1 year ago and I have made mini albums and los about her life and the pain is turning into lovely memories. Here, we are at my nephew's shower and Mom and I got a moment together. The poem is by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay. Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.
