It's reveal time again at Creative Scrappers! This is my take on Sketch #110 which you can find here:

THe photo is of my DGS, Allen. This photo was taken when we had a little photo shoot in our back yard in November 2009. I work so hard to get a smile from Allen...but all I get is a serious look. He actually laughs and smiles a lot...just NOT when I have my camera out! LOL! I used Bella Blvd papers (Man of the House) for this layout. I backed each ppr piece with a dark brown cardstock to make the differet layers pop. The scalloped edge was cut with my "cloud" scissors, then I highlighted the edge with a white signo pen. I added a little doodling to the blue block also. The embellies are punched with circle punches...then I added a rubon that says Life is good to one circle, and I put the date on the other circle. The frog came from my stash. He's on pop dots. I added a little doodling to ground the frog. THe scallope edge on the frog circle is a journaling tag I found in my stash. The title letters are plain chipboard that I colored with a dark brown ink.

Journaling reads: Every time I get my camera out to take your picture, you give me your serious look. Why do you make me work so hard to get a picture of your beautiful smile! You silly boy!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
