I made this page for two Swirly challenges. Rae wanted us to dig out our ribbons and buttons and stamps (oh my!), dust them off, and put them to use. As a twist, she challenged us to include some feathers, which was a lot of fun!!!! I assembled this using the sketch that was included in the Swirlydoos Antebellum Beauty kit, as always, provided by Beggahuna.
Mostly Swirly goodies here, including the dangling beads and the brass charm that holds the title card. The other two pieces of ribbon and the buttons were from my stash; the feathers were purchased at ACM.
My great grandparents Elisa and Augustus Heineck with three of their children; my grandmother, Johanna, is the girl in the back. She was born in 1893, so I'm guessing that the portrait was taken c. 1898.
