Well, you've totally inspired me..I have the same problem remembering the color differences. Once I get my room back in order, this will be one of my first projects! :)
Love this idea so much, it is a brilliant way to know what you ink looks like so you know exactly which one to choose instead of searching and trying every ink you own. Love that you crinkled it. I have to do this tomorrow for sure.
I always have trouble remembering the subtle differences between some of the TH Distress Ink colors, so last month, I started a set of sample tags for my Distress Inks like you see in all the LSS's. I got around to finishing them up today. Since I started mine, I've seen some sets on this site with stamping or on other materials, but I did mine on white cardstock so I could see the true color, and I used the technique printed on the back of the ink so all the variation would be visible, i.e. I applied the ink direct to crumpled and smoothed out paper, misted with water and allowed to dry. I then ironed them, applied a ring of Glossy Accents to reinforce each hole (I hate setting eyelets), and strung them on a beaded chain. The color names are written on the backs.
