This is another photo of Abigail the day after I got her (the date, April 10, 2007, is written in gold pen to the bottom right of the pic). In this one, she's tired out from playing and ready for a nap. She's 9 weeks old.

For this LO, I was inspired by some of the techniques used lately by my talented friend Rebecca (byondbzr). The LO is much more truly purple IRL -- I couldn't completely get rid of the blue cast in editing.

This is for:
1. No Patterned Paper and
2. Use Your Supplies Week 1 ~ Cardstock (3 colors of cardstock and a twist to alter at least one of them).
I sprayed the green cs with Olive Vine Glimmer Mist. I cut the leaves/flourishes out of black cs with my Cricut and sprayed them with Slate Glimmer Mist. The shaped paper started out as white cs. I used Dusty Concord and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks, water, and Fully Purple Glimmer Mist to make the front. I then tore it in the shape I wanted, tore the hole for the pic, and sprayed the back with Olive Vine GM so the green would show when I rolled the paper.
Also for:
3. Pet Challenge
4. Flowers & Bling. I have 3 flowers, and lots of bling: GM's, gems, pearls, Stickles, glitter letters, and the beaded stick pin. I also did the twist to include a bird -- it's the purple partridge over the stamped clock.
5. VLB - Stickles/glitter.
I used 3 colors of stickles as part of the black flower center, and glitter letters for the title.

I received the green felt flower, purple fabric flower and stick pin in a RAK from KarenW -- she handmade the purple flower and stick pin. The Maya Road raw chipboard wings and the large gem were from Mandy (craftysprinkles) in a couple different RAKs. Thank you so much, Ladies!

I sprayed (soaked actually) the wings with Olive Vine and Sweet Clover GM, and used Glossy Accents to attach the gem to the center. I used tiny alpha stickers inked with Milled Lavender Distress Ink to add Abigail's name, and covered that with Crackle Accents. I made the black, purple and green flower out of some of my favorite ribbon left over from when I made one of Cassie's old costumes. I used various gems, pearls, and blobs of Stickles to make the center. The clock is stamped with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. I did some distressed machine stitching around the edge and did the lacing with embroidery floss.

I had a lot of fun with this one! TFL!
