We flew into La Guardia on Friday night. It was a good thing we didn't leave on Saturday, because we wouldn't have been able to land with the snow storm coming in. The snow started falling on saturday afternoon. How did we ever get lucky enough to experience New York's BIGGEST snow storm EVER? 27" of snow! I haven't seen that much snow in my LIFE! It was wonderful. We knew we were going to get "some" snow while we were in town, but never thought it would end up being over 2 feet! central park was absolutely beautiful. There were tons of people in the park, playing football, skiing, making snowmen, throwing snowballs, playing in the snow. We couldn't have asked for a better 4 days in New York!
