Give a Cheer
For this month's Groovy Challenge 'Alphabet Overload'- We were asked to create a LO with LOTS of Alpha's. I thought, wouldn't it be cool if it wasn't just random alpha's all over the background or worked into the design of the page, what if I made a page with actual words on it like in a page in a book. So I decided to break out my favorite rubber stamps and put them to work for me for the design of this LO.
As far as the inspiration for this page goes, I think it's pretty obvious where that came from. I've recently become a Christ follower-just under 3 months ago now-and so I've been doing quite a bit of reading as part of my walk w/the Lord. The title for this LO is one of my favorite phrases that Jesus said and when I decided to do this page I knew it would be perfect for it. I have also been devouring the Book of Revelation so I couldn't resist working a little of it into the design of this page aw well.
I started w/a cream colored piece of cardstock and sprayed it w/a mixture of walnut ink & water. I inked the edges & then stamped each & every letter by hand. TFL : ]
