oh wow, now THAT is a closeup! Reminds me of Thursday night when we were driving the golf cartf at night and almost hit two deer, amazing how much bigger they look when you are in a small cart!

POD...JULY #7/15...Doe

7-3-10...I've posted photos of Black-tailed deer before but this little doe is so pretty, I wanted to share her with you. I never tire of seeing their big, liquid-like eyes and their timid/curious expressions. She and I were less than 20 feet apart...by the time she noticed me I'd already taken several photos of her. I'm pretty sure she had a fawn nearby...in another shot it was very evident she's been nursing. [P7039641]
