I actually put forth quite a bit of effort for this 2-pager. We had visited a nearby park and did some hiking along side the small river they had there. I had taken at least 50 photos and these where the best out of that group.

I love the one in the upper left of our 2 boys sitting on a log. I actually considered making it a LO in itself, but then changed my mind since our album is so stinkin' thick for 2009. I also fell in love with the photo of the dandilions, so I used it as the ending photo on the far right.

I had settled on the papers right away. I love the swirls on the left bottom corner! The opposite page needed to match, but not perfectly... that would have been too dark for these lively photos, so I went with a muted brown page and then used the yellow and green accents to tie it all together. I found some matching paper with the swirls so I cut them out and used 'em for embellies, a couple of chipboard words and some different stick on alphas to finish off this layout.
