As a fellow Canadian, I know exactly what you mean by the lotto 649 shot. When I saw your title, I had to check out the page to see if you had actually won! What an awesome concept - to photograph the letter from the bank showing a zero balance on your mortgage. Congratulations! All the more money to spend on scrapbooking, right?
Wonderful title and love the awesome photo. I am sure it felt like you won the lottery. Great job on the flowers. And just think of all the scrapbook supplies you can now buy with the extra money. LOL. Congrats to you both......
Darling layout. Love the flowers and flourishes. Here in the US the Publishers Clearing House award winners pose the same way. Congratulations on paying off your mortgage..that's almost as good as winning the lottery...think of that monthly check you no longer have to pay...and 13 1/2 years...WOW!

The punching, inking and stitching...all look FANTASTIC! LOVE the little tear at top left!!! Your DA swirls are PERFECT...did you alter them or back them with cardstock??? Lovely dimensional effect!!! Slow down....you're filling up my FAVES file!!!

Congrats!!! Must be such a big relief and a great feeling! Such a neat event to scrap!!! Did you take your savings to buy some more scrap supplies for this and other LOs? haha Your flowers turned out great, Michelle!!!
Ok...weird title I know but Canadian members will know what I'm refering too as this looks like a publicity shot for Lotto 649! The smiling winners are shown holding their big check in the ads...This is actually a photo of me and hubby that my son took the day we got a letter from the bank saying our mortgage balance was ZERO!!! woo hoo!Journaling tag under the photo reads "Rob and I get a kick out of this picture because it looks so much like a Lotto 649 publicity shot! nope...we did not win the lottery but we did pay off our mortgage in 13 1/2 years...almost as good!! Scott took this pic the day we got notification from the bank." The smaller flowers were made using Gabi's wonderful tutorial called Mums..check it out here www.gabriellepollacco.blogspot.com she has all her tutorials listed down the side. Very easy! Swirls are Dusty Attic , TFL!
