Pics from a school field trip to the Challenger Learning Center for Science and Technology in 4th grade (5/07). The kids worked on a mock space shuttle mission and took turns working as shuttle crew members and in mission control. The little note on the left page is a reduced copy of my dd's letter assigning her to the Life-Support team. The article with photos on the right page is from the school newsletter.
I sprayed the black bg cs with slate and marshmallow glimmer mists to give it an outer space look. I printed the earth and moon on white cs and cut them out. I cut the flames behind the shuttle with my cricut from yellow cs and sprayed them with gold, jack o' lantern, and candy apple red glimmer mists.
