Thanks For Looking!
Layout of our girls thinking that they found a snake but turned out it was just a stick weed.
Journaling: Another Hot day in July, July 18, 2009. The sun was high and the air was hot. The grasses were green and brown from the extreme heat and lack of water, Perfect time for a slithering intruder to intrude and slither through the uncut grass that grew along side the house and around the trees. The girls found a huge snake slithering around in their backyard. "A snake, a snake", they yell, daddy went and caught the snake and let it go someplace else. Now the girls were on alert for other snakes that could be slithering through our yard. Alicia found something that looked like a snake and came running inside to tell mommy that there was another snake in the yard. Mommy goes out to check on the prospect and what she found was a stick weed. I rather there be stick weed snakes then real snakes any day, but girls keep your eyes open and stay away from those real snakes!
