Journaling states: Lauren was three and a half when I finally took her to to get her first haircut. Her hair was so curly that when it grew, it just curled up close to her head so she really didn't need a haircut but she really wanted one. I finally took her to Neely's Bend haircutters and told them just to trim it since I didn't want any length to be cut off. She was so excited and proud and came out of the front door smiling big and feeling so much like a big girl.
