My dh, who really is my protector. I hid my journaling behind the photo, but it states; "You are my protector for the following reasons - 1. When we lived in the apt. in Staunton, the upstairs apt. had water that overflowed into our downstairs bedroom closet, where I had hung my hair dryer. I was getting ready to plug it in, when you noticed water dripping out of the dryer and stopped me. If you hadn't I could have died! 2. The time we were fishing on a lake and pulled off to go to the bathroom. I had told you, Rock & George to go first, and while I was waiting a Canadian Honker swam to shore and started coming at me honking the entire time. I am afraid of birds, and ducks, especially one that is coming at me! You heard the commotion and came running and got in front of me, just as the duck started to fly to come at me and you blocked him. You and George found out that they had a nest near a tree where I was standing, and he was only trying to protect it. #3 We went roller skating once after neither of us had gone for many, many years. I just about fell, and you grabbed my hands and instead of falling, we both went around in circles until we stopped. You have kept me from getting hurt more than once. Plus, you protect our cats and you also feed the birds and squirrels all year long, so you keep them from going hungry. I'm so thankful for you!" TFL
