There were so many of us that we had to make several trips. Matt and I were on the beach waiting for the second one when the waves completely took the boat over! The water was so choppy because of the hurricane! When we got back to our hotel they had everything closed, windows taped up, and they were throwing all the lounge chairs in the pool! It was crazy!
My darling husband felt like such a hero!
OMG! That is great! What a memory of your honeymoon. Too funny! I love how your colors in your title match your mats and all the journaling and numbers to tell you which one to read first is very clever. Nice job! By the way, if your boat was going overboard, how were you able to get so many great pictures?! ;]
This spread tells more on my unique honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta. The journaling reads: "#1 We gladly splashed in to the turqoise water from the small transport boat. A deserted white sand beach and playful waves were the perfect end to our Las Marietas day trip... ...But the sea had other plans... #2 ...as one of the boats took on water and the passengers in their orange life preservers went overboard quickly and the boat disappeared into the waves... #3 "Baywatch Matt" jumps in to save the day (as I watch from shore with my camera!) and emerges victorious! With a backpack! #4 HEAVE-HO Matt shows off his muscles to pull the boat to shore #5 and then helps bale out the water. #6 Finally safe on the boat - It's party time. I made friends with our cruise directory Giovianni, as we sang a duet to the Grease Mix. I even won Matt and I a free sailboat ride.. But again the sea had other plans." That night Puerto Vallarta was hit by the third largest Pacific hurricane!
