Fran, your hard hard work was well worth it....because this is just gorgeous! (and I'm not just talking about the dress shopping...ha ha!) You look BEAUTIFUL, dahling!! I can only imagine the challenges of finding the right dress for my own child's wedding, and you obviously had great success. Lovely photo....wonderful location for this pic! And your design does it justice, with all the special edges, punched and cut and inked. whew! The border along the photo's bottom looks fabulous...and your clustered embellies are spectacular!!! LOVE how the title is subtle with some bling...very elegant! FAVE!!!
You look fantastic in your dress (well worth the frustration) and your lo is beautiful. sooo many special touches, creating an elegant lo - befitting the mother of the groom. (so my dd is getting married in 10 months - based on your experiences I'D BETTER GET TO LOOKING FOR A DRESS NOW!!!!) TFS.

awe, very nice.. pretty page, and pretty you... very perfect dress, I am doing that at this time,,, trying to find the perfect dress for my DD wedding, ( so hard)...
Oh, this is so pretty! Love this lo! And your dress is gorgeous. I had the same problem 4 years ago finding a dress for my son's wedding. I never expected it to be so hard to find something - I looked for 6 months!
Well, look at you, Fran. How pretty you look (for a lady of your age, lol). This is really quite stunning. I love all the details and all the textures you used. The humming bird appears to be bringing the dress right to you.
Well all that searching sure paid off! You look so elegant, beautiful and just out and out stunning! The dress is almost as beautiful as this page! I love your little pocket corners, the gorgeous border, your embellishment cluster... everything is just perfect! A fave for me!
This is very pretty Fran!! I love the picture of you, you look stunning! I have always loved that royal blue color :) The hummindbird is so cute, looks like it's flying the dress form across the page to tie the theme all together! GREAT work!
WOW Fran.....this is SMASHING Girl!!! The foto is fabulous.....you look marvelous! I adore the dress form w/ the touch of blue and the way you made it look like the hummingbird is bringing it to you, the ribbon/lace trim below foto is gorgeous and the grouping of the beautiful butterflies, feathers, flowers and flourishes is very elegant.....BRAVO!!!
Well, Fran, the end result looks fabulous! Your dress is gorgeous! Love the marvelous details and the really beautiful colours! Such a beautiful photo of you! A gorgeous layout, for sure!
I like how the blue of the LO matches your dress. I think you looked wonderful--all that hunting paid off. I like the hummingbird carrying the dress in it's beak--fantastic design!
I think you have just scrapped every woman's dilemma...once you are passed 30 the designers don't care. The end result...you look positively gorgeous and you have created a fabulously beautiful lo!! Love it!!
Finding things that fit well is a trial! I am only 5'2", so everything has to be hemmed, and the waist is ALWAYS too low!!! AND, ready to wear clothing off the rack is made for a B average bustline...haha....ain't going to button without gapping. Anyway, I love the concept of this page. I like the subtle title, and the hummingbird holding the dress form is sweet. The punching looks nice, and the irregular edge (distressing) is perfect for an outdoor photo. You found the perfect shade of blue cardstock to go with your dress! CONGRATS on the special day with your son!
Well this is outstanding! the Lois lovely , you are lovely and your dress is lovely! Very elegant page. love the corner embellies...great idea..My most very favorite part is that adorable dressform hanging from the hummingbird beak...that is the sweetest!
How beautiful this layout is, and it's eco-friendly too! I like that you used the tidbits on the corners. I love the humming bird, dress form, and floral arrangement. The fan-folded paper under the photo (or ribbon) is beautiful too. What I loved best of all was having some fun scrap time with you and dress shopping with you! You looked fabulous.
I do believe you created the perfect layout to go with the perfect dress! Both the lo and you look very beautiful! Looks like the dress fits you perfectly!
Finding a dress that fit me properly for our son's wedding was really a challenge. 46 dresses later (approx.) I finally settled on a dress that was too long in the waste, needed hemming, needed straps sewn in place and bra cups lowered to a more natural position for someone of my age (LOL). I finally finished this LO after having a few interruptions and some things going wrong. The title was made very pale because I didn't want it to stand out. Thanks to Mrs. Bean for the sweet dress form, self-adhesive flower and die cut flower. Thanks also to Anderjackie for the pretty butterfly. I made the stick pin, and used my Cricut for the cardstock flourishes. I did some chalking, ripping, inking, painting and punching. The outer frame was cut freehand. The corner designs were added in the interest of not wasting anything from such a pretty punch - LOL. Crystal flourishes, humming bird, crystal butterfly, lace and feathers were from my stash. Go easy on me, my friends; this one took me forever.
