Wonderful work on this whole album *passes out klenex* again....love to see the hope and life you have shown in your pages. So nice you were able to go help in the rebuilding!
Beautiful layout. How rewarding that you could assist in recovery. I love this page - everything you did on it was just perfect. It's a "fav"!
My goodness I really get a feel of how bad it is for those people living there with your photos, you are a wonderful lady to go out and help them, it must have been physically and mentally very exhasting. Suzie
How amazing of you to help with the devestation. It's surreal how you created such a beautiful tribute to such a terrible event. Congratulations on this wonderful layout.
Marie
What a beautiful layout ... doesn't matter that the pictures show devastation. It's obvious you were very touched by your experience. How wonderful you and your family were able to go and help. In the end, though, I'm sure you felt like you received more than you gave.
Great job!

WOW I cann't even imagine what that must have been like to see all that destruction. My heart goes out to all those who were impacted by Katrina. I applaud you and all those who have volunteered thier time and effort to help. It warms my heart to know that with all the horrible things that happen in this world there are still alot of really wonderful people out there trying to make it better.

A group of 8 of us were able to go to New Orleans and do Relief Work in rebuilding homes. We stayed for 2 weeks. The destruction left behind from hurricane Katrina is unbelievable, even after 6 months had passed. The 9th Ward was the worst hit area. The Monday after we returned the city began demolishing the area. It was a gratifying experience to do the work of helping others rebuild their lives but it was sobering as well.
