This is for Week 2 of Jamariel's Monthly Sketch Challenge. This was a big test for me because I don't usually do two page layouts - they intimidate me - so I am quite pleased with how this turned out.

The journalling reads: "One of the highlights of my visit was a trip to visit Pete's parent's farm in Manjimup, which is in the south west of WA. The last time I was there was in 2006 and it was wonderful to see John & Lynette & the rest of the family again.

I loved escaping from the city and experiencing autumn in the country. The weather was crisp, cool & damp - perfect for me.

Pete's family have farmed there for many years & grow broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage. They also farm sheep and have a cattle stud.

On the Sunday morning before we left to travel back to Perth, Pete took me up to the fields to pick vegetables to take back with us. It was lovely to pick fresh dew covered veggies straight from the ground. They went straight to the dinner table that evening. I couldn't believe the difference in taste!!

Definitely something to be said for farm fresh veg!!

Thanks for looking xx
