This is my entry in Angelica's July Butterfly Challenge at Swirlydoos. All of the materials on this page are from the Summer Serenity Kit, even the pretty butterfly images, courtesy of Lisa (Star Sailor). Once again, I took advantage of the Technique Kit and colored the bling with alcohol ink. The butterflies were edged with a thin line of Glossy Accents and dipped them in Diamond Dust.
I've loved this picture of my father and his sister c.1923 for years and I'm so glad that I've found the perfect way to scrap it. I discovered a few weeks ago that this photo had won a contest that had been held by the Buffalo Courier-Express. Unfortunately, my aunt did not know the identity of the photographer, which is too bad. I'd love to be able to give credit for this wonderful image, even after all these years.
