Journaling Reads:
Walking through the woods near Whiteman's Creek on Wilbur's farm one March morning, my parents came upon a gigantic willow tree.
It's majestic trunk and billowing branches were quite a site. The willow has been there for many, many years. It's age showing in the gnarled bark and the girth of its trunk. The trunk is more than 25 meters in circumference.
My father hunts this very land. It's plentiful with deer, turkey, geese and ducks.
I love walking in the woods. No matter what season it is, you alwasy see the most amazing things!

Poem reads:
There is nothing more beautiful
than a forest clothed to its hollows with
snow. It is the still ecstasy of nature, wherein every
spray, every blade of grass, every
spire of reed, every intricacy of twig,
is clad with radiance.
