This is my entry in Robin (Loves2Create)’s “I’m a Little Vintage” Swirlydoos challenge.

With the exception of a couple of the bead centers, this is all Swirlydoos… I basically followed the sketch that came with the kit (every Swirlydoos kit comes with a new sketch by Beggahuna!) for my design. The alphas for the title were painted, stamped, and glittered using Lisa (StarSailor)’s wonderful Sugared Letters technique. The ribbon was dyed with coffee: I just soaked it in a small amount for a few seconds and then wrapped it in some paper toweling and squeezed. The gorgeous rose corsage came with the July kit; I made the rest using my Sizzix dies.

The title says it all… That’s me at the age of 5; a professional photographer came to our house and took portraits of my sister, my brother and me together and individually. This is a scanned image printed out onto cream-colored textured cardstock.
