My son is so beautiful when he's sleeping that I couldn't NOT do an LO about it! It was difficult to choose the perfect photo because I have so many sweet ones, so I got DH's input and he chose this one.
Even more difficult was the journaling, both visible and hidden. I wanted to use one of several songs I sing to my son, but couldn't decide which one as they're all such a part of me. Ultimately I chose the lyrics to the Beatles' "Good Night" because it's the most obscure of the songs I sing to him and I don't want it to "die with me." The hidden journaling didn't come out exactly as I planned. I kind of had two important "mini essays" in my head regarding babies and sleep, and one of them made it onto the journaling card and the other did not. I guess I can always add the other in his baby book.
Used Sketch Inspirations #131 for this. I challenged myself to keep this LO simple, even if it came out feeling too simple, because I did not want to overpower the photo or the sentiment. Hope I was successful on some level.
