This LO documents all the wishes and hopes I have for my son's life. The title is not concise, but I haven't done one like this yet for this album so I figured that was okay. It comes from a song that means a great deal to me ("All the Best" by John Prine). It's not an upbeat song at all, but the opening line kept running through my mind as I began working on this LO: "I wish you love and happiness/ I guess I wish you all the best." Those are the things most parents want for their children, and I'm no exception. But then I got thinking and praying about what I really want for my son, and it occurred to me that it's much more important that he be a man after God's own heart than that he be happy. Of course, I believe that by following God he'll be immensely happy, but . . . I'm rambling.

Sketch is #10 from Pencil Lines. It inspired me to do something I've seen and always wanted to try, namely, using just one meaningful photo and repeating it several times within the LO for impact. I made a black and white copy of the main photo and then did 20% fills in blue, orange and green.

Journaling is all the character attributes I hope to see in my son. I used a larger font to emphasize the things that are most important to me.

TFL!!!
