Your son's are both cuties! I love the stitching you did on this and the story behind the layout. Sometimes Disney is hard work! LOL I love that your DH took photos for you! What a great guy! Did he take photos of you sleeping? LOL Mien would have!

I love your story! I'm with you on the plane ride....I do the same thing! Handsome young man you have. I love your design and "wonky" stitching! Cute layout!
a GREAT title for an awesome lo. love the story behind the wonderful photos (handsome young men) and your "wonky" stitching is perfect - it gives the lo character (i am guessing you wanted it straighter - but no one knows that but you.) tfs
I totally loved reading your journaling - you are such a wonderful story-teller!!!! What an awesome layout - I love the color combo and those photos that your hubby took are FAB!! Your title and design are great!!! and that little chibpoard tree it the perfect touch!!
Colours are fantastic, love the pics and the spritzing of glimmermist, but most of all, I love the story. I am not a flyer either and haven't flown outside of Aus. At least you were brave enough to fly ther in the first place...hehehehe!!
Now this handsome fellow looks like his dad, and such a gorgoeus design, luv that little tree there and very apt papers for a masculine page, the good old treddle machine, the stitching is perfect, luved reading the story here and well if I was on a plane I would need more than sedation lol
Love the colours and that tree is fantastic! Great candid shots of your boys, I love those "natural" photos the best, the ones that aren't posed but just seem to capture them perfectly at the moment! Love your clever title too!
Love this page!!! So many interesting things going on here! That tree caught my eye right way! Love the title especially since you were all on the train at the time! It's like you let us in on a little secret : ) Fav!!!
another one of my older layouts whilst I work on finding that missing mojo! I stuck some journaling on the back of this one. It reads: After spending the first four days of our U.S. /Canada holiday in New Orleans we flew on to Orlando. Being the nervous flyer I am, even though it was only a flight of a couple of hours, I still needed to take a sedative to calm me down so hopefully I wouldn't become hysterical at every little bump on the flight. We landed (smoothly & without any drama) at Orlando late morning and we were soon at our Disney hotel, Wilderness Lodge, able to check in straight away. After having some lunch I tried to have a rest to sleep off the effects of the medication before venturing out to the parks but I was far too excited to fall asleep and at around 3.00pm we left for the Magic Kingdom anyway. We had a few rides and then it ‘hit me'. I was so tired I could hardly stand up. We had dinner booked with Chip n' Dale at 6pm and tickets for Mickey's Xmas party that night and there was no way I was going to miss that! Solution: take a ride around the park on the Disney Railroad. We boarded the train and I closed my eyes and nodded off as the train wound its way around the park. James & David just sat back and enjoyed the scenery and John took a few photos. It was a bit of quiet reflection time for all of us. I woke up after a 15 or so minute nap, feeling refreshed and much better and we partied on till midnight!
I used an old treadle machine & I am a hopeless seamstress so the stitching is a lot wonkier than I had intended. I think the chipboard tree that I dabbed a bit of ink on is by ScrapFx. I used some Walnut Ink for the misting and the pp's I used are Kaisercraft & MME. I really liked these photos that my husband took whilst I was asleep as the expressions on my son's faces are so typical of them. TFL.
