A day at the zoo

These are some animal pics from our visit last weekend to the Nashville Zoo. PP and stickers are be Reminesce. I used a lot of stamps and added lots of doodling. There are three different grass stamps, the tree stamp; two branch stamps, two sun ray stamps, the dandelion stamp and three font stamps. I stamped the branches for the frames and then cut them out by hand. I added doodling to the branches at the top and to the dandelions. The tree was stamped and then colored in with Zig pens. The grass edges were cut with decorative scissors. Poem reads:

This is the way the elephant goes
With curly trunk instead of nose.
The buffalo all shaggy and fat
Has two sharp horns in place of hat.
The hippo with his mouth so wide
Lets you see what is inside.
The wiggly snake upon the ground
Crawls along without a sound.
But the monkey see and monkey do
Is the funniest animal in the zoo.
