This is my dd Brianna when she took her first steps. I'm so thankful that I was there to witness them. :smile:
I can't seem to get a good picture of this LO. I've taken so many gosh darn pictures..but oh well, this one will have to do.
The journaling reads:
On 6 December 2005, your tiny feet carried you that day.
First steps free from my hands, I watched my baby step away.
During the coming years, I値l guide your little feet,
As they toddle 祖ross the lawn, and safely cross the street.
Your tiny feet will soon grow strong and steady, find puddles to kick and splash,
Pedal a two-wheel bike, and win a schoolyard dash.
Kick a ball, learn to dance, race a friend home from school,
Skip a rope, jump in bed, dive feet first at the pool.
Your small feet may often stumble, scrape a knee or take a fall,
Misstep or need direction, or a model to stand tall.
Know I値l always be behind you, my love will give you wings,
To proudly fill the shoes, a grown-up life will bring.
The years will quickly pass, and your feet will learn to drive,
Walk the stage to a diploma, when graduation day arrives.
I値l watch through misty eyes, as you walk down wedding痴 aisle,
A family of your own, you値l start your journey with a smile.
These darling pictures will hold my heart, for each tomorrow you will grow.
Today I値l hold you closer, for too soon your tiny feet will go.
