This is another page for my friend Andrea's wedding album. The photos are of her sweet Grandma Fanny.

In our family, we had a "cookie grandma" and a "prune grandma." One was sweet and affectionate, the other was crabby and thought prunes were a good snack for kids. Bah! Andrea's Grandma Fanny was most definitely a "cookie grandma" and she was very precious. We wanted to have a page in the wedding album celebrating the life of Grandma Fanny who died just a few months after Andrea and Jim were married. So, here's to the Cookie Grandmas of the world!

I found the poem/essay here at SB.com in the Resources section. Andrea read it and said it is very fitting for her Grandma Fanny.

A Grandma is warm hugs and sweet memories.
She remembers all of your accomplishments
and forgets all of your mistakes.
She is someone you can tell your secrets and worries to,
and she hopes and prays that all your dreams come true.
She always loves you, no matter what.
She can see past temper tantrums and bad moods,
and makes it clear that they don't affect
how precious you are to her.
She is an encouraging word and a tender touch.
She is full of proud smiles
She is the one person in the world
who loves you with all her heart,
who remembers the child you were
and cherishes the person you've become.

- The earring was part of a display given to me by my cousin from her girly gift shop "M". The display had hundreds of single earrings. She gave them all to me!
- The additional butterflies are from a Jolee's set
