Great picture of Lee and great, masculine layout! I love how you pulled together so many elements that somehow they all mesh perfectly. You are truly gifted!
How busy you have been!! Wow, bubble wrap huh? GOTTA TRY IT!! :) That is, after I am unpacked months from now lolol.... So love the way that looks! I've got plenty of bubble wrap, that's for sure! My life is in bubble wrap right now! Totally love how you used the grungeboard hinges...they look fab...I am just a little angry at TH that he does not make his grungeboard acid free!! When I first read your description I thought you wrote it was for Lee's 13th bday -- I was like WOW he looked mature as a youngster! :) Cute and manly all at the same time, Patty! Great work! XO
Patty, this is so incredible. I am going to have to look at it several times to absorb everything you did on this page. I just have to get a busines trip out your way so I can come visit you. And Lee is adorable. You can't possibly have a 30 year old.

WOW, what a great page. So creative to use bubble wrap as a stamp...makes me want to think outside the square a little more! Love all those embellies :)
Absolutely amazing lo and lots of fabulous techniques. The bubblewrap gives an awesome effect and I love the stitching and the TH embellies!!! Love everything!!!!
Wow!!!! What a creative and fun layout! I have never tired the bubble wrap stamping, but you have really inspired me to try it in my next layout! I love all of your cool details, the wonderful photo, and quote! What a great layout - a definite fav!!!! TFS!
This one was lots of fun to do! After attaching the diecut paper to the (mostly black) background, I used bubble wrap and black Stayz On ink to create the dotted design in the upper left corner. Also, I added a lot of fun, edgy embellies, like the strip of eyelets from my LSS, the inked lazercut gear from my stash, the Tim Holtz Filmstrip Ribbon and Memo Pins by Advantus. The aged-looking journaling card is by My Mind's Eye. The Grungeboard hinges were painted (Black Soot) with Ranger Crackle Paint. Did a lot of inking of the Mama-razzi pp using Staz On Ink in Jet Black. Also did some hand stitching with embroidery floss. Took the circular dots that had been in the gear and inked them, and added them to the area right of the colored picture for a little interest. Over the photo, I applied the Hambly Overlay. Last, I used my Ten Second Studio tools and created the triangle, then sanded and applied it to the LO.
This LO is a Celebration of Lee's Thirtieth Birthday. The Note says, "If we all did the things we are capable of we would astound ourselves." ....by Thomas Edison. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEE!!!
