Give a Cheer
I used sketch #2 from Kelly Purkey's Sketchbook2 class at Studio Calico.
This was a very therapeutic layout for me since I just received the news that my paternal grandfather will soon be graduating to heaven. He was a very generous and visionary person. He wanted to make a difference in the world with his finances. He also had a vision back in the '90's and personally paid for a "family" building addition at his retirement village that now has a beautiful full-service dining area and private hospitality rooms for families to spend time together when visiting their elderly.
The journaling reads "One blessing your Great Grandfather has left you is a legacy of GIVING. Giving to people, God, church, community, family and ministries. What a priceless gift! Dec. 2008
