We’ve been married for 6 years now and this was the first year we actually celebrated Valentine’s Day. You always thought it was a silly, little holiday that we didn’t need because our anniversary was only 9 days earlier. So every year Valentine’s Day came around we just forgot about it. So this year we decided to finally celebrate it with each other. I have to say, you did good! You came home for lunch and brought me these beautiful magenta roses. That in itself was a sweet surprise. I was pleased and satisfied. Then to my surprise you came home from work with this most adorable bear. He was so soft, small and cuddly. Absolutely perfect. Then you handed me a small white box. I was actually surprised and I am a hard one to surprise. In it was a beautiful , delicate, white gold cross. Something I’ve wanted for years. All this was so special and significant for me as it actually meant you listened to my wants and needs and showed me that you truly are my special Valentine!
