MY FIL passed away this spring shy of 100 YO. We have learned a great deal from his papers, books he typed, but so much we still have to learn. We learned he was a Professor at Warsau University in 1935, thankfully he left before the Nazi's arrived there. We learned he was a prisoner of war as was his wife. He painted this picture while in his 90's, I've looked at it for years and did not notice until I read his books that this isn't a farm scene, he was telling a part of history without having to speak of it. They are footprints! Footprints of the March he was forced on. There is so much more to learn about this amazing man. This links to my mini album info about seaching for a peaceful life. The Polish suffered too and this information needs to be archived.
