I love how much you did with the denim.. and your photos look like so many pairs of pants I see when I am out and about. Love the double meaning of the title too. Super creative and fun lo! Hope it was therapeutic.
Very creative Michelle!!! LOL, I totally feel your frustration, I don't have the same problem YET with mine, but I see it on the kids these days and just wanna walk over to them and pull them up!!!!! This is great ;)
Love it! This brings back memories from a few years back when I was an 8th grade teacher. I had a classroom full of those faded/frayed jeans. So funny, they wouldn't have it any other way. Too funny and cute! Love how you used the denim on the lo, the title work is awesome! Love it!
oh thanks, I needed a little giggle, great lil ds.....with the denim too.oh dont worry, the young ones do the same out here, walk on the bottom of their jeans it,s a world wide fad
You win the "Clever Punny" page of the month, MIchelle! LOL! This is HILARIOUS! and SOOOO true....as I can attest looking at my son's low riding jeans! ha ha ha!!! Awesome design work with the denim...just lovin all the frayed ends..and that pocket tag is BRILLIANT!! Your stitching looks fantastic...I could hear your sewing machine humming away all across the prairies these past few days! heee heee! The bright red cs is the PERFECT background...really striking contrast with the white and denim elements. The distressed strips of pp make a wonderful photo mat and add nice color behind the pic! FABULOUS and FAVE!!!! (BTW...I DARE you to hem up ALL of Scott's jeans in the middle of the night....and press them nice an pretty!! ha ha!)
hehe...love that you were at least able to resurrect the jeans for a layout...a familiar site these days. The layout is absolutely awesome and so very creative. I love all the stitching and pocket with tag. This will be a great layout to pull out when he has a son of this age...lol.
SO adorable love the pic and love the use of the jeans. ive got and old pair of jeans all frayed out and my hubby says hun get rid of those jeans ill buy you a new pair im like nope there broke in and i love them he says only you could turn down a new pair of jeans and like them now i can show him this pic lol.
What a fantastic layout to document your frustration. Like how you used a scrap of his jeans and the stitching is great. I've seen a lot of styles come and go in my life time. So hang tight,"MOM" this phase will eventually pass.
Hehe, my brothers do the same thing to their jeans! Such a cute LO to document your frustration! Love that you used a scrap of his jeans! The stitching is a nice touch!
This is a Lo about my frustration with the way DS wears his jeans and is always wearing out the bottoms of them . I used actual denim from one of his victims...I mean jeans :) ! I machine stirched the 11x 11{approx} piece pof denim onto the red cs and then sewed the white cs on top of that. The letters were made using modge podge painted on chippie letters and then cut out { straighter style letters work best!} There is a tag tucked into the denim pocket which reads" FRAYED!!! I don't know what this better describes....the bottom of Scott's jeans or my nerves! Scott always wears his jeans low on his hips so they always get scuffed and frayed! " TFL!
