Another heritage page...My mom circa 1950 with a young bull calf. She was probably getting ready to help with the castration. Or maybe she was just goofing around!?I was going for a "red-wht-blue"country, Americana flavor. I have used string art before but it has been a long while(see "Hurricane Season Has Begun" Dated Jun 15th, 2008...Page 7 in my gallery as of this date). The twine flower is a hairband I got for a dollar years ago. I knew that someday I would use it. The roses are my 2nd attempt at making them. I sanded my brads. I used various sizes of hole punches and a corner punch. I backed the punched out areas w/ the red and wht gingham paper.
