she looks so sweet! Bless you for giving her a home...she will learn to trust you and will respond to the love and care you show her. Three of our cats were strays who wandered into our lives, and our dog was given to us by people who never had time for him and left him locked up all day.They are all wonderful,loving pets;I think maybe animals with a history are that much more appreciative of loving owners.sweet,simple page-love the buttons and the cute little bird!

Oh, angel wings for you, for sure. Lucky lucky Phoebe to have found a real animal lover who will give her the time and be patient while she discovers that not all humans are cruel and unloving. She will grow to be a devoted companion in time, and before long you'll wonder what you ever did without her. I like the bird - it's sort of symbolic, isn't it. Phoebe, so timid like a little bird who might fly away if you get too close or frighten her too much. Hugs to you.

YOU are my hero for letting her stay! I'm so glad she found you and know she will bring a lot more love to your loving house. Phoebe is adorable and that is the perfect name for her. Introduce her to a calm dog that does like to play. She will learn from interacting with another socialized dog. Another useful tool is the rubber Kong toys where you stick a treat inside and they have to work to get it out. Love the warm colors you used here and all the negative space is so clean and fresh-looking. Wonderful page honoring your new friend!
