This is just precious. The colors, the design and the floating look......the clouds and the little dresses hanging out to dry.....reminds me of my childhood.......! I love this, and would have to frame it and look at it daily.......I can almost smell those fresh clothes on the line!!!
Awesome. What a great memory. The stitching for the clothes line is genius. I can never find string that isn't too thick when I need it. Thanks for the idea.
This is beautiful! I took photos of my laundry hanging and planned to scrap it "some day." It's on my scrap "to-do list," and you have encouraged me to get on it. Thanks!
What a sweet memory and you relive it in the same house...how wonderful is that..and then you scrapped it beautifully. This layout is so darling. Great job on the pole.
This is so cute! I love the clothesline (the scrapped one and the pic) I remember my Nannaw having laundry on the line before the rest of us even thought about getting out of bed.
This is sooo awesome in so many words!! I am sooo in love with this!!! Sooo sweet! Wonderful memories!!! You did not go overboard you did this perfect!!!!!
This is my layout for the 52 layout challenge I am hosting on my blog. (working my way thru the book 52 more scrapbook challenges and blogging about it). This week's challenge was to create your own paper piecing that reflects you. Well I got a little carried away with that concept and practically the whole layout is a paper piecing. It was totally fun! Lots of dear lizzy products here. I drew the clothes line pole and clouds. clothesline was stitched on. used tiny attacher staples for clothespins. Thanks for looking! Journling reads: "When I was little I'd help Mamaw hang the laundry on the line. She always propped up the line with a big stick. Now I live in her house and I do the same thing."
