This sounds perfect! I know I'm a little behind on this idea but I didn't need it before. I'm trying to get more organized and I thought this would do the trick. However, I'm not able to find anything like this at the Cricut.com site. Any help on getting these would be appreciated.
This is an awesome idea. I would do one step further and put them in page protectors. This way you don't punch holes in the paper and ruin the pages while always flipping through to look for the items you need!! Thanks!
I was trying to print the cricut cheat sheets, my printer does not have the option (Change page scaling to Multiples per sheet) & (change pages per sheet to Custom) I Have a HP Photosmart C3180 and run Windows 7. My page scaling has these options (no scaling, fit to pg, Shrink Large pg, and custom. I then have multiple up printing (across & down select a #) can anyone help me?
Thank you so much for sharing the instructions with us! I feel that I would get so much more out of my Expression if I had something like this and could more easily see all of the shapes. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Off to go print my pages now :D Cheers, Amber
I am glad to see that I am not the only one having problems finding the right shapes after purchasing the Gypsy mainly for this reason. Great idea...Thanks!
I love my Cricut & I love my Gypsy, but even using the keyword search, I wasn't finding the shapes I needed. And, the small handbooks are a pain to sort through. So, I printed these “Cheat Sheets” for each of my cartridges using the digital handbook links on Cricut.com. By printing 3 Cricut Handbook pages on each 8.5x11 sheet, I could still easily see all the shapes, but condense each handbook to 17 pages. In order to cut down on printing costs, I change my printer properties to “Fast/Economical Printing” & “Black Ink Only”. Now I can sit & flip though 1 big binder with all my Cricut shapes & fonts!
Directions for printing Cricut Cheat Sheets – 1) Go to Cricut.com & find the cartridge you want to print. 2) Click on the “Digital Handbook” pdf file link under the “Details” tab. 3) Find which 50 shape pages you'll need to print. For example pages 28-77 on the Cindy Loo cartridge. 4) Right click & select “Print”. 5) Change Print Range “Pages” to 28-77 for the Cindy Loo cartridge… will need to be adjusted for other cartridges. 6) Change Page Scaling to “Multiples per Sheet”. 7) Change Pages Per Sheet to “Custom” 1 by 3. 8) Page Order “Horizontal”. 9) Click “Properties” to change to “Fast/Economical Printing” & “Black Ink Only”. 10) You're ready to print! It will print 17 sheets with 3 Cricut pages per sheet.
