I have always been drawn to that painting, Jackee. The verse you chose to go with it is perfect. This truly refreshes my spirit today. I love the way you used the doilies, too. Thank you for the beautiful reminder of Jesus' tender compassion for us.
Wow!! I absolutely LOVE this! Isn't it interesting how scriptures jump at us in a different way. It's like He's saying "wait, I really want to tell you something". I love this picture and it is so fitting the way you used it with the scripture. The paper is fantastic and the doilies are so elegant! Thanks for sharing this!
The doilies work especially well & I love that you included your own pretty handwriting to write out the Scripture! Makes it just that much more special! XO
Your page is great.I too have to believe this.I lost my husband to cancer last year and on Thursday was our Anniversary.I am having a hard time seeing the light at the other end.In May I had an accident and rolled our van with my two sons in it.We are all ok now.Could I ask you to pray for me and my boys?God Bless,SHIRLK
I made this page for the August Faithbooking Challenge. This is one of my favorite pictures and I've always wanted to scrap it but never knew what to do. One of the options for the challenge was to scrap something new that we have learned about Jesus. I had just recently read this scripture (again) and this time it hit me differently. I realized that Jesus is saying that we don't have to be troubled or scared because He is here to take care of us! He will give us the peace that we need, especially in times of sorrow or fear. The picture seemed to go along perfectly with the way I was feeling. Yay!
