what a sweet story.. i think sometimes we get lost in all the hub bub of today but forget the sweet simple times our grandparents lived in. I love this LO... brought tears to my eyes. and the vig love at the bottom is really cool. is that pp or did you do that yourself?

Young Love 1

It reads: The Story of How They Met. Grandpa and Grandma both attended Holy Cross Church. After Mass one Sunday in the Spring of 1944, grandpa asked agranma if he could walk her home. They continued to see each other at church and at A&P, the locoal grocery store where grandpa worked. Soon after they met, grandpa went off to the Navy but didn't forget about grandma. They stayed in touch through letters, and grandpa visited her when he was home on break. Their young love lasted for seven years but eventually tured into a lifetime of love. On September 8, 1951, they were married at Holy Cross Church, the same church where they met.
