Give a Cheer
This is for the Steampunk Challenge, with a beach theme. The picture is from my trip to LaPush Washington, and was taken at Second Beach. I wanted an octopus, but I couldn't find one online that I liked, so I drew this one and cut it out...I added some gears to his head, from some old watches, and put crackle accent over the top to ho;d them down and give an old look. I gave my sea horses butterfly wings. added some stickles to the hot air balloon...put a stamp in the corner to kind of represent a postcard, since post cards seemed to be such a big issue on that trip. I also gave the sea shells a gear, kinds unicycling sea shells I guess...LOL
I added a few metal flowers along with the roses I made from tim holtz paper...and more watch gears to the middle of the compass....I like the way this turned out, it was so outside the box for me, ..but, I still wanted to be able to put it in my scrapbook for that trip, and not have people thinking I was "High" when I made this LO....but it's still a little out there...LOL
