1979 - me (21 yrs old) and my brother (18 yrs old) gave my Mom and Dad a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party. "Kirk and I worked so hard planning your surprise party. It was one of the highlights of my life. Friends and family from near and far joined us in celebrating this very special day. You two were so excited!! One of the best nights ever!!" (that is their original cake topper on the sheet cake - found it in my moms' hope chest) I wish they would have lived to see their 50th - what a party that would have been. (after looking at this - think i will go back and add a few more flowers) tfl.
