shcg - I missed this...somehow. No clue how. :-/ Your BWC is AWESOME! I love how you use the polaroid for your info. Love how almost everything you make has that green in it.
SHCG: I love this. The picture is awesome, love the title, the polaroid camera is fantastic (love the name date coming out of it!). The colors are great, I really like the little bit of green and it did not throw the LO off balance for me. The filmstrip ribbon is awesome. The Glitter Mists adds a lot to this page (I agree with Jesse, I am still trying to figure out how to use the stuff!). No suggestions...well, maybe one....frame it!
SHCG: I love your BWC idea and will definitely have to respond, along with all the other great ones. Your one green piece seems like signature Marlene to me; I wish I hadn't glanced at the comments below. I don't think you really need to create a green visual triangle, because I like the unexpected standout piece, but it couldn't hurt. However, I'd totally play it down, like just two or three small green rhinestones in the upper left corner of the photo. I love how his smile really dominates the page, even in b/w! Thank you so much for the link. I'd love to nab these images for myself. The added filmstrip is a very cute touch. I absolutely love that you have the date coming out of the Polaroid cam. Really nice work on the spritzing in the bg.
SHCG: Very cool! I love the negative treatment of the photo and the little Polaroid. I like how you used the Glimmer Mist too... I'm still trying to figure out how to use that stuff!
SHCG: This page rocks!! I love the purples, greens and blacks and your negative picture was such a great idea! I agree with Sharon's suggestion of adding some additional green to this layout...I think a border surrounding the entire page would work well.
SHCG - Marvelous response to your very groovy challenge, Marlene! Love the overall placement of everything. That Polaroid is to-die-for cute, the negative image pic is perfect here & the splash of flowers looks so nice w/ it all! This rocks as is but I have a couple tiny thoughts... I love that you have the date printing outta the camera & think it would be more adorable to have your sweetie's name there too since I don't see it anywhere. Also, cool touch w/ that pretty lime green in the flower but I'd like to see more green in other spots, like maybe have the writing from the Polaroid in green & maybe some in the title too. Just some thoughts. Excellent work overall!
Had fun with this one. The polariod paper and little polariod camera can be found here: http://scrappyfairy.blogspot.com/2010/07/instant-freebie-friday-digital-stamp.html TFL :)
