Memories

first page of an 8 x 8 scrapbook I'm doing for my Mum.
the journalling is a prayer:-
Beloved wait for me until I can come to you

I know no other can fill the gap

Inside me left now you are gone

Beloved wait for me

I always loved to see you smile

But my greatest ecstasy was waking first

To watch you sleep like an angel next to me

But now your eyes are closed forever love

And I would give my life to see you smile again
