I already scrapped a 9"x8" album re: the holidays '07, seen here - http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=41507&a=260707&page=1 (My entire out-of-state immediate family came to NYC to spend Xmas '07 w/ me, DH & most of my in-laws, a very special week of gatherings!). I had more pics from our Christmas Day karaoke that I wanted to scrap so I did this 12x12 LO. This is based on sketch 52 from Got Sketch.

Journaling: Family holidays mean food, togetherness & love. In my family, dancing & karaoke are also included! On Christmas Day '07, my entire family was in NYC (Sal, Eden, Romeo, Gigi, Anthony, Kevin, Shirley, Sally, Jon, Daniel, Sarah & Jacob) visiting Greg & me. We went with in-laws Charlie, Shelly & Barbara to Karaoke Duet on 35th St. A BLAST! In a private room, w/ a HUGE song selection, 2 mics, a tambourine & a disco ball, we sang with abandon – “Last Xmas,” “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” “Get This Party Started,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Another One Bites The Dust,” “Billie Jean,” “My Way”…etc! Laughs, smiles & showboating. Sally & I refer to the quote from the film “Adventures in Babysitting” - "Nobody leaves this place without singing the blues”… In our case, it's karaoke!

My scanner cropped off some of the sides (as usual). The Stickle accents (in the title & throughout the LO), gold foil cs & star stickers look shinier IRL. I did the title in Word. I used some of the stuff from my mini book to have a connection that.

I should do a tally to see how many of my LOs have us doing karaoke, LOL!

TFL :)
