I made this card for my cousin (her wedding card was my first tri-shutter attempt) who is expecting a baby boy in a couple weeks. He's her first baby so I thought the sentiment (borrowed from a stamp I saw at JoAnn's) was appropriate. I struggled with a color scheme but settled on these tan and blue papers from DCWV Linen Closet. I have never made ribbon flowers before but I think I did okay for my first try.
The ribbon for the bows is from Martha Stewart, the ribbon flowers are made from ribbon I bought at JoAnns. It was my HUSBAND'S idea to put the two stripes of ribbon on the front panel! I was so surprised, he never gives me suggestions.
